What is Breathontology?
Section Title
Breathontology is the science and art of using the breath in specific patterns and rhythms to activate our natural healing abilities. Born out of the ancient science of Swara Yoga, it draws on centuries-old wisdom and knowledge and tailors it to address the unique challenges of modern day living. As international research journals are confirming, learning to train and use the power of the breath can modify our mind, our body, and our life to be happier, healthier and more vital.
Breathontology uses easy yoga postures, pranayama, and relaxation techniques to increase prana -- our life force -- and regenerate all body functions. Diet and ayurvedic self care practices, such as Nasya, are used to support the relaxation and opening of the body. Anyone who is able to sit, lay down on their back and do gentle movements is ready and able to embark on a natural, uplifting healing journey with Breathontology!
